Meet the Owners
Crystal Hostetler
Hi, I’m a wife to Luke for almost 18 years and a mom to four amazing kids—Gia, Mara, Hayes, and Parker. For the past 13 years, I’ve been blessed to stay at home and raise our family. Being a wife and mother has been both incredibly rewarding and deeply challenging. Early on in my motherhood journey, I felt a strong conviction about prioritizing our children’s health—especially when it came to the food they eat. While we’re far from perfect, I’ve always tried to find simple, wholesome snacks for our kids.
This past fall, when our youngest, Parker, started kindergarten, I suddenly found myself with an empty house during the day—but God had other plans. Holy Crunch’s mission of using simple ingredients aligned perfectly with what I’ve been passionate about all these years. Now, I get to share that passion with others.
This business has been such a blessing—an answer to prayer—and throughout it all, I keep coming back to one of my favorite verses:
“Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me.”
John 15:4 ESV
As I abide in Christ through this journey of growing Holy Crunch, my prayer is that I can continue to serve both my family and yours.

I have been married to my husband, Nate, for 18 years and we have 3 incredible boys- Griffin (15), Drake (12), and Phoenix (10). Born and raised here in Lincoln Nebraska, I value Jesus and family the most. God is the great Author of our story and He receives all of the glory! I have owned a small business in the past, until I accepted a ministry job with the Biblical Counseling Hub. I have the privilege of counseling & discipling women and helping them through life’s trials and celebrations.
Last summer (2024), I was really desiring to build a new business. There’s just something about creating something new and being able to provide for our family. I partnered with Crystal and Emily to build this business, Holy Crunch, from the ground up. I’m not a visionary but I knew where to start. I had NO idea God would grow us big and strong but that is EXACTLY what He’s doing now. He is such a kind and gracious God. Now, we get to provide a healthy snack for families across the nation! What a fun dream.
One of my favorite verses from scripture is this:
1 Chronicles 29:11 ” Yours, O Lord, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the victory and the majesty, for all that is in the heavens and the earth is yours. Yours is the kingdom, O Lord, and you are exalted as head above all.”

I have been married to my husband Matt for 16 years. We have 4 great kids in our family; Blake (14), Riley (12), Cadence (9), and my amazing stepdaughter Alexis (21). I love God, time with my family, animals, and reading. I was a Pediatric Ultrasonographer for 7 years before making the choice to be a stay-at-home mom. Ever since becoming a mom, I have become very attentive to the things that go in and on our bodies, trying to make the cleanest choices possible when it comes to my family and the world we live in. Finding safe snacks that my kids will eat can be a challenge at times, but they love getting to eat and try new freeze-dried foods. Partnering with Crystal and Steph has been has given me another purpose to add to my life. I am honored to work alongside these amazing women and learn from them. We get to grow together in our faith, character, and capacity as businesswomen. I feel that God has plans for this business venture that we cannot fully see right now. Whether that is big, small, or somewhere in between, I am excited to see where he takes us and what I can learn along the way.
My favorite verse is Psalm 46:10, “Be still, and know that I am God”. This is what comes to mind when things get hard or I try to deal with things on my own. Surrendering does not come naturally to me, but there is relief and refuge when I remember that I don’t have to do everything on my own.
